Fly through the air on a zip-wire… skim over the waves on a windsurfer… or simply lie back and soak up the rays on golden dunes. With a huge range of activities close to the stunning Norfolk coastline, Iwerne is the ultimate summer holiday experience

Up to 120 teenagers come on each holiday, from various boarding schools. Everyone is part of a small group, so it’s easy to make friends.

The holidays take place at Gresham’s school, just outside the popular Norfolk town of Holt. The school has superb sporting facilities and excellent boarding accommodation. Norfolk’s award-winning beaches and Broads are just a few miles away.

Each day has loads of different activities to choose from. Mornings are spent on-site with a mixture of sports, home-made Iwerne games, and quieter crafts and hobbies – everything from touch rugby to slack-lining, arts and crafts to our own version of Quidditch! Or you can simply choose to chill on a deck-chair or play a board game with friends in ‘Dave’s Diner’.

Afternoons are usually off-site with up to a dozen different options. Some are active, like the High Ropes course, or kayaking. Some are more relaxed – a trip to the beach or a visit to a National Trust property. Some are unique to Iwerne – like the ever-popular Wide Game and Small Courts Tournament. For the more specialist activities, there’s plenty of help and tuition to get you started – or to stretch you, if you’re more experienced.
