The high-point of the Iwerne year are the three summer holiday parties, held at Gresham's School in North Norfolk. Each holiday lasts nine days and welcomes between sixty and ninety 14-18 year-olds. The dates for 2008 are:

The cost is £273, including full board and all activities. Bursaries are available.
Activities

People
Up to 90 teenagers come on each holiday, drawn from about 30 different boarding schools. Up to half of those on any holiday may be new to Iwerne, so we work hard at welcoming and involving people right from the start.
Everyone is part of a small group of boys or girls in the same school year, with two or three leaders assigned to look after them.
The leadership is made up of the full-time Iwerne staff, plus a team of volunteer leaders, including many schoolteachers and undergraduates.

Location
Since 2003, Iwerne Holidays have been held at Gresham's School in North Norfolk. The school is excellently equipped with modern accommodation (mostly in rooms of 2-4) and superb sporting facilities. These include grass and hard tennis courts, two astroturfs, an indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall, squash courts, extensive games fields and pitching and putting courses. At the heart of the site is ‘Dave’s Diner’, a pretty, thatched building which serves as the social centre for the Holidays and the venue for Café Olé (Iwerne’s very own evening entertainment).
Food
The food is one of the highlights of Iwerne. It's prepared by our own team of experienced cooks for that home-baked taste. We are able to cater for different dietary needs.
