Moving-On Weekend

Starting life after school can be an exciting but daunting experience. This weekend aim to provide help and practical tips, whether you're heading off on a Gap Year or gearing up for University.

The weekend is fairly small and informal, taking place at a converted barn deep in the West Sussex countryside.

More details for 2017 coming soon.

Who?
Those with connections to Iwerne who left school in Summer 2016 or 2017 and are about to start a Gap Year or University.

When?
We start at 5pm on Friday 8th and end at 3pm on Sunday 10th September 2017.

What?
A huge amount of fun, laughter, games and plenty of good healthy food, enjoyed with friends, old and new. Challenging practical talks and seminars on being prepared for one of the most exciting stages of life.

Answering questions like:

  • How do I keep going as a Christian in the year ahead?
  • What difference should my faith make to Freshers’ week or a year travelling?
  • How can I make the most of the year ahead?

Where?
White Birch Farm, Warbleton, East Sussex. We’ll be making the most of the beautiful setting and the surrouding countryside. We can pick you up from the nearest train station, Stonegate, which is about an hour from Charing Cross. Further details will be sent nearer the time.
