Safety is a top priority at Iwerne. We take our responsibility of looking after those in our care very seriously.
All our staff and volunteers have been cleared by a disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau as part of our Child Protection Policy.
There is a medically qualified leader on hand with responsibility for healthcare during the holidays.
All activities are supervised by experienced adults with the necessary national qualifications, such as Royal Yachting Association Senior Sailing Instructor, Windsurfing Senior Instructor, British Canoe Union Coach. We make every effort to ensure that all activities listed are available, but when we are not able to provide adequate supervision for an activity it will not be included in the programme. For watersports participants must be confident in the water.
We hold an Adventure Activities Licensing Authority Licence for watersports (‘Titus Trust South’, Reference No: R1415). The AALA is part of the Health and Safety Executive and Licensing is administered by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service.
