IwerneActivities

Each day of the holiday, there's a choice of up to a dozen different activities to cater for all tastes. So whether you're after an adrenaline rush on the zip-wire or a gentle stroll along a cliff-top path, a classic game of footie or an afternoon sailing on the Broads, you're sure to have the time of your life!

Onsite

Most mornings are spent on-site at Greshams, with a wide choice of sports and activities. Some you'll have done before - football, lacrosse, cricket and volleyball. Others you won't - bicycle polo, Crocker, Danish Longball, maybe even Quidditch! Some get active - archery, touch rugby and ultimate frisbee. Others are more laid-back - arts & crafts, drama, cookery and jazz workshops... Or you could just grab a racquet and head over with some friends to the grass tennis courts. You choose!

Watersports

Sailing The Holidays are held very close to the famous Norfolk Broads, where we sail and windsurf most afternoons. We also take our own fleet of very easy to use sit-on-top kayaks to the beautiful nearby River Bure. If you're a beginner, there's plenty of help and tuition to get you started. If you're more experienced, we can tailor sessions to test andWindsurfing stretch your skills. And if you're need is for speed, then head out to the powerboat lake, where you'll be flung around on a variety of inflatable donuts and bananas.

Beach

Holkham Beach

Norfolk has a number of world-class beaches within a few miles of the Iwerne site. Most afternoons include the option of a visit to the seaside for anything from power-kiting to a tide-race and our very own Beach Olympics. And there's always the option of a long-day mellow on Holkham Beach. Sun, sand and zzzz...

Active

Mountain Biking Get muddy on a mountain bike, get speedy on a go-kart, get swinging on the ropes course, get shooting some clays. Also many afternoons, there's the option of an on-site tournament, including the famous Iwerne Wide Game.

Relaxed

Everyone needs to put their feet up from time-to-time, so we build plenty of more chilled choices into the programme. And of course if you want, you can always just a grab a deckchair and watch the world go by.

Trips

Blickling Hall Norfolk is stuffed full of great places to visit - castles, zoos, stately homes, even the country's largest private collection of tanks! Every afternoon, there's the chance to join a trip to explore a new bit of the countryside. We may even hire a boat to see the seals at Blakeney Point.
